Ringette at School? Ringette at Camp? YES!

Updated Tuesday September 9, 2014 by Vernon Ringette Association - GVRA.

Are you a teacher looking for a new sport to introduce to your students? How about a summer camp programmer looking for a new activity to play in the gym or outside? Why not give Ringette a try!

Every year Vernon Ringette sends our Director of School and Community Programs into schools and children's organizations to teach kids the great sport of Ringette. Kids get the opportunity to learn the rules as well as experience gym ringette play in scrimmage format - an opportunity they perhaps would not have had previously! It is a great chance for kids to try out the sport before comitting to an entire season. Our visits have included School District 22, School District 23, Vernon Parks and Recreation summer camps, and Pacific Sport summer camps.

If you are interested in having Vernon Ringette visit your school or organization, contact Dawn Ponich at ponich@telus.net
